I wish to express my best wishes to the newlyweds. :2tsup:

Hang on that's me.

I am not used to be on the receiving end.

This next bit is for the caring sharing types on this forum.

Bai in my eyes is an extraordinary person. I get a lift from hearing her voice even when she is complaining about something that I did wrong. At the present moment her work has taken her interstate. I find that she is in my thoughts just before I fall off to sleep, when I wake in the morning and sometimes during the day.

I think it's best to leave it here just in case you guys start crying, as moisture not very good for tools.

Thank you all for the best wishes.

Bear with me just a little longer as there is a little bit more for those that are overly sensitive on the teary side and something for the wood workers.

As some might already know I started wood turning. Not having a chuck I was just doing things between centers. I made a few things but mainly wood chips to get the feel of turning.

About 4 or 6 weeks before the marriage I thought that I would make a pen for the signing of the certificate. I made a total of four pens from four different types of wood.

I did not tell anyone what I was doing or show anyone what I had made until Bai had returned to Sydney. She selected one from the four and that is the pen that we used to sign with.

Only five people have used this pen, including our witnesses and celebrate.

Not totally true Christos I recall a phone conversation regarding pen making just not one word did you mention about wedding.:~

I know you just didn't want all the unwanted turning items we need to get rid of as wedding presents.
