Hi I like the name billy302.
My name is Bill and my favourite engine is the Ford Windsor 302.
I've loved wood work and working with wood since I was at school in the 50's and early 60's.
Wood and woodwork has been a stress relief valve for me for many years.
I like to use more traditional methods of woodwork with the exception of power-saws.
Now that I have time on my hands I love making things from any type of timber including scrap. I have mostly hand tools and finish buy hand also.
It may not be efficient but remember this is my hobby.
I also make Picture Frames and stretcher frames for my wife who is an Artist.
Most of the stretcher frames I make for her have no nails, clips or metal of any description in their construction. These frames I know will last long after I'm gone.
Any thats me and I like what I've seen so far and decided to join.:U:U

I'd like to show you some of my stuff. I'll try to get some photos.
I know it sounds strange, but most of the stuff I've made over the years has been given away through our church or to family members.
I've never had any trouble giving the stuff I've made away.
Coffee tables, jewellery boxes, clocks. Pretty much anything that someone wants me to make.
I'll try to get my son to send me some photos of the coffee table I made last year from scrap.
