The search engine can't find three-letter matches or less, because there are too many three-letter words. Try a more elaborate keyword, e.g. spelling out one of your terms.

Joe is correct, in respect to 3 letter searches, but I resolve the problem by using google.

When you aren't getting the results you would expect, do a site search from google. eg. in google search use this format:

'vsd site:www.woodworkforums.com' (remove commas). If you want to search for a phrase, then enclose it in parentheses.

Use Google advanced search, you can define the site, keywords etc you wish to search for.

Google Advanced Search (http://www.google.ca/advanced_search)
