I have purchased a new Tasmanian Oak buffet. ( see picture)
It seems to scratch easily. I was wanting to coat it with something to make it more resilient. I imagine it has a layer of polyurethrane on it. Can I just purchase some more polyurethrane and coat it. Does it matter if I use a different sheen type of polyurethrane? It appears to have a low sheen at present.
Thanks
