Manual Arts Officer Instructor
Position Available
Part Time 30hrs/week
$42,277.00 pro-rata/annum
Based at our Warwick Centre
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and positive person who has the gift of being able to teach others.
The position involves the support and instruction of adults living with a disability in a variety of manual arts. While this position has a significant focus on woodwork pursuits, applicants who have the skills and knowledge to provide instruction in other manual arts/other artistic pursuits and can introduce new options would possess an advantage in their application.
Also those applicants with a training background will be highly regarded
You will be supported by our wonderful team of volunteers. Our workshop is fully fitted with a wide variety of equipment including; routers, bench sander, thicknesser, mitre saw, bench planer, wood lathe, band saw, scroll saw etc.
Applicants will require a current WA Driver’s License and be able to pass a State/Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children check.
Applicants must have basic - intermediate computer skills.
