farewell aunty jack.record - YouTube
Farewell aunty jack,
We know you'll be back
Though you're 10 feet tall
You don't scare us at all
You're big, bold and tough
But you're not so rough
There's a scream as she plummets away ('allo me little luvlies)
(spoken over the chorus progression)
So remember, you better listen to this song real close coz i'll tell you what,if you don't,
I'm gonna jump through your speakers and rip your bloody arms off...and i will too...
Don't forget it...especially you stupid.
She rides a black bike (i do)
And drives through the night (right)
She's big, round and fat
But don't dare tell her that (flaming one arm...)
Coz she gets so mean
Her glove starts to gleam
There's a scream as she plummets away (goodbye me little luvlies)
Bridge:
Oh we really really love you
And we think the world about you
Won't you please come back to our house
Please come back dear aunty jack
Now you've gone away and left me
Aunty jack please don't forget me
Just remember i'll be waiting
At the gates dear aunty jack
Yes i think i must be dreaming
I can hear your bike a screaming
And i know you're coming near me
Now you're back dear aunty jack (i'm back)
Ch:
Farewell aunty jack, (make up your bloody mind)
We know you'll be back
Though you're 10 feet tall
You don't scare us at all (i've heard that before)
You're big, bold and tough
But you're not so rough
There's a scream as she plummets away (g'bye me little luvlies)
(spoken over the chorus progression)
I'm really off this time....like a piece of cheese

Pac man that was a superhuman effort. There were at least three that on any day of the week would have been clear winners.
As said, Arnie had to be in there somewhere. I loved the Harold Holt reference for it's irony and the egg under attack was genius. I put myself right there for a moment:-. Let's move on.
However I'm truly sorry Pac man as this week wasn't the week because labr@'s effort was off the planet. (We are allowing interterrestial entries I hear). So simple, so prophetic and some would say so real: In fact just plain bloody apt. This is coming from someone who is irreverent on his tolerant days and sacreligious for the other 364 days a year.
Labr@ take it away sir.

I'll say this right up front before someone else gets in first: Yes I have too much time on my hands today. I was in the middle of sanding back the weatherboards on the house when the backing disc on my angle grinder broke up. End of job, temporarily at least, as the local hardware store doesn't have them and I ordered the one I've got (or rather did have) through the net.
More on order, but may not be here until next week. Ordinarily SWMBO would just move to the next job on the list, but she is away:) at a retreat. Not a euphemism for drying out or re-balancing she just..er..retreated:wink:.
I may have to have a little drink later to fire up some inspiration, but in the meantime here's a "little" contribution. I have narrowed scope of the winner down a little. More to come ..

Yes I did have quite a bit of fun with this. Some of the tea ladies were extremely strong contenders, but for the life of me I couldn't see the connection. There was precious little to do with tea and the title lady may have been generous. I really don't think the decorum of afternoon tea had ever entered their heads.
There was one particular person........ I digress. here is the remainder of the offering. Jus a couple of comments: I think Penelope Keith is there, Lady Gaga definitely is, although I think her name could be either an oxymoron, onomatopoeic or a spoof. I don't know too much about her, but I can guess.
The lady in red (I love the song) is apparantly wearing a tea-length dress, which I have never heard of before and you can have her (metaphorically) in black if you prefer. If you can have a tea-length dress and an evening dress I wonder if you can get a midnight snack dress and what form would it take?

GJ I know just what you mean. I feel shackled.
I thought I had seen everything but this could be the ultimate in emasculation. I am not entirely sure of the materials, but I feel sure the third material would have to be a "wood."
To some extent, the question of entry is acadameic as I can't see too many men asking the question
