Hey guys, thought I'd sign up and maybe contribute to the forum since I've been reading so much of it lately. I'm interested in wooden boats and furniture but mostly in tools. So are a lot of you by the looks of it :;

I've been on a bit of a spending spree just lately. I'll post pictures when it all arrives :D But there's a few tools that I can't bring myself to purchase (I seem to have a resistance to buying a handtool that cost over $300) so I may end up making them. Shooting plane from Lie Nielson for $630! What? Seriously? Looks like a bit of old angle iron to me :oo:

Not the most attractive thing, I'll admit. But it worked :2tsup:

Hey, thanks fellas. Maybe you guys can tell me - how come pictures don't show up in threads (only links)? Or am I doing something wrong?

You can get it to show a thumbnail that takes you too the photo but if you do that only people who are logged in can see the link or thumbnail.

Just upload link straight from your comp, into post, dont worry about going to photobucket :wink:

You need to use the [IMG] tags from Photobucket instead of the Direct Link ones.



I prefer it when people put the pics in the thread instead of the thumbnails, but that's just me.
