I was telling a mate this afternoon of an incident
this morning.

I walked along a grassed area, across a flooded creek,
encountered two large Tiger snakes, trekked through
some impenetrable scrub, climbed to the fork of a giant
gum tree for a better view, faced off with a whopping big
buck kangaroo and had to crawl out of a stinking muddy
hole which was waist deep.

My mate said, "You really are an outdoors man".

I replied, "No, just a crappy golfer searching for the only
golf ball I had".

Its amazing how blokes who'll walk right round a golf course 18 holes dragging a bag full of sticks n balls enduring what you did Allan. Ask them to walk down the road for a loaf of bread :no:
