Hi to all, my name is Dave and altho I have been an avid forum reader over the last few years, I haven't had the chance to make many postings.Taking early retirement has enabled me to seriously get stuck into the tools again. Now I can finish the house I started those years ago lol, altho building for the kids and their families is keeping me pretty busy.
I have two wonderful children who both have families and I am loving every minute of spending time with four special grandchildren. Maybe thats why I keep finding jobs to do at their homes:)
My interest in woodworking came from a self taught dad many years ago. I am at present setting up a workshop and looking forward to the space I will have.
Hope to spend more time on the forum as it has been a fantastic source of info.

cheers dave from Tassie

Hi Blackheart :2tsup: Tassie is well represented here as you may know a few more will not hurt.

Richmond is a wonderful place in Tassie liked it quite a lot when there in 2004.

Hi Dave, like the others who have replied. Good to have you on board. Enjoy all those projects now you have a little time. I try to get as much done on mine as possible but work regrettably restricts this a little.

We have a historic (1826) place over on the outskirts of Sorell (down and off the Pawleena Rd) which we are slowly restoring, though live in the city. Plenty of woody projects just in that one to keep me busy, but it is all good fun. Dave
