Just for a change of pace, I have wasps making a nest in an outside wall of my timber home. Some of the blighters are even getting inside into the laundry.

They are flying in through some holes left by disconnected water pipes.

I was thinking of quickly slapping some gaffa tape over the holes when it gets dark, however, this might drive them into the house, even more.

Any clues?

Mortein. Get stung a few times and you wont feel sorry for them. We have European wasps over here and they are nasty.

Wait till dark then puff some `Baygon`dust into and around the entrance, don`t block it with the powder. The wasps will walk through the powder and carry it into the nest, killing the queen and the workers.

I had a big Euro Wasp nest in the roof and they were coming in near the front door. Picked up some stuff called wasp nest kill or something like that and it fixed them up pretty quickly. I got it from the local rural supplies but it might be in the big B shed or similar?
