Hi All Woodies, We are staying at Coolangatta from early July for a few weeks. Flying 2 grand kids up to join us for the Vic school holidays. The 13 year old is a beginner surfer with his own basic board. Rather than us cart a surfboard for 6000ks, is there a member in Coolangatta--Tweed Heads area that has a board that is not being used, suitable for a 13 yo, that we could have a loan of. It doesn't have to be anything special , as he is currently using one of those foam type boards.

6000 Ks - you must be taking the scenic route.


I know it is not what you asked , but there are any number of surfboard hire places up there. Probably about $20 a day or $100 a week - probably cheaper for a longer period.

A couple of weeks with teenage grandkids on the beach. You are one brave bloke - more power to your arm sir! There should be more like you!
