When I open freecell I always let the random number game appear,
this means that some game numbers that come up its possible to do them almost with your eyes closed, just keep placing cards in the sequence required, but if you select this particular number I thought some players would think it was a challenge.
To CHD
Thanks for your number selection, are they that difficult?

jow104 - you b*******
How dare you ruin my sunday morning like this.
I too usually just play whatever game the computer wishes to taunt me with and now you threaten me with a specific number. I must be hooked or I wouldn't have gone and tried it. Grrrrrr. Those red aces are murder to get to. How can a game be so hard when the first three cards go up so quickly?

Where the nuns go :D
Windows XP and previous versions provides a number of free games with the program. Freecell, Solitare, etc.
But be warned you can waste an hour each day if you get hooked on freecell.

I guess they do that so you can stay occupied waiting for the tech to get there to remove the viruses and spyware...

Very funny; but seriously they originated long before virus kiddies learnt enough to write them and were originally intended to improve peoples mouse and keyboard skills.
I usually use "Waste" time whilst awaiting Video processing software to do its thing or while long downloads to complete.

... will have to try the game No. in question when I get home. But I too am a freecell adict... I go for the random game approach .... I say to myself ... just one more game... and the next thing I know it is midnight :-( I have in the past deleted the game off of my PC but my current version of windows has so far stopped me doing this - apparently it is an integral and vital part of the operating system (!!!) ... whatever I try to delete it doesn't work.

For sure, for sure it can be addictive.
Out of interest, does anyone work at their % success rate ? ours usually runs between 80 and 90 % using random game method. (Ours, being she who must be obeyed and myself.)

sacrificed part of my lunch break to try 13043 - got the game out first go :D - but then I was forewarned that it might be hard so perhaps I took more care than I would have if I'd come upon it unawares :D

I suspect most free-cell addicts have got lives - free-cell is very therapeutic and much cheaper than getting drunk, stoned etc etc - only risk is RSI from the constant mouse clicking.

Very nice score Ribot but is that statistic one day or over 12 months :o
To Jackview
If you use a stylus instead of a mouse which I have now used for 2 years there is no problem re RSI or the finger click noise. They cost from around $50 aus and I use the stylus for all work that was performed by the mouse previously. Put it on the prezzy list for the person who has got everything.
