Liquid Glass

I would like to know peoples experiences with using liquid glass, Every thing I ve read says its some sort of revolution. Claiming it does everything from high gloss finish to fire proofing. Depending on whatyou good people tell I am thinking using it on a Slab table and on all out door exposed finishes. Does it also stop the timber turning grey in the sunlight ?

I tried to use a liquid gloss a while ago to fill between bark and the wood on a bowl i carved, which also had a few holes in it. I had to use it a number of times because the bowl obviously was not flat. The end result looked pretty decent though. Not sure about how hard wearing it is.
