Hi All,
We were having a bad time with all the Blow Flies around the House. Having a small Dog, we leave the Back Sliding Door slightly ajar. Have no place for a hole in the door.
So, we Bought a " Fly Trap " from Bunnies, $10.
You empty the contents into the Bottle provided, 3/4 of a cup of warm water. Hang in a sunny but not to windy area. Ours would be 12ft. from the back door.
Had it just over a week, had to refill it already, as I suppose the Liquid Evaporated .
No matter, as it is still working.
You would not believe how many Flies are in that Container.
I'm told that we will have to Empty it soon as Maggots suddenly appear.
Will have to go back to Bunnies to buy another Satchel to make some more liquid.

Read somewhere, get a 1.25 L Bottle, put 4 Holes around the Neck, needs 75mm. of water, a Chop bone with Flesh still on it, works a treat.
Through out make another one.
No Cost what so ever. Try it.

Regards,
issatree.

They are great, we have an inconsiderant p...k as a rear neigbour ,who built a chicken coop only 3metres from our boundary, was too close according to council regs.I have written two letters to council, its still there ,so we have two of these across our sit out area at the back of the house, they attract flies like you would not believe, made in WA too!
