Good Morning Friends,
Due to a family function there was no quiz for yesterday.
So here is the one for today;
Keeping glue off the workbench during a glue up is a pain in the neck. It is also an ongoing problem for most woodworkers. What do you do to solve the problem?

I oil the benchtop to make glue spots easier to remove by scraping. If doing a big glue-up, I cover it with a sheet of vinyl, which shed glue easily. Usually at the end of a job, I give the benchtop a full go over with a cabinet scraper.

I do my glue-ups on the floor.

I stick sheets of newspaper under it. Gives me something to read while I'm waiting for the glue to dry.

Good Evening Friends,
One person gave the answer I was looking for and that was a sheet of vinyl, as the glue will not stick to it and after it dries all you have to do is just shake it off.
Thank you for your support.
Respectfully,
