gday all
was hoping some one could help me please
i have a slab of timber which i think is red gum
approx 500mm wide on one end and up to 800mm roughly
1800mm long and 60mm thick
have had it drying now for 6 years so i reckon it should be dry by now:2tsup:
anyhow does any one know where in Perth i can take it to get sanded or put through a thickness-er (how ever you bloody spell that word!! :roll:) just to level it out etc etc
any help would be great
cheers all:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

Given the width 800mm you might have difficulty finding a thicknesser to handle that width. You may need someone with an overhead router slab leveling set-up. I seem to recall there was a bloke who advertised this service in either the Saturday West Australian or the Sunday Times.

HI Mate,

I`ve got a Wood Wizz and could surface and sand that slab if your interested.
I`m about 90mins east of Perth but could pickup and drop off easily enough.

PM me if interested.

cheers
