At my granddaughter's wedding, the DJ polled the guests to see who
had been married longest.

It turned out to be my wife and I.

The DJ asked us, "What advice would you give to the newly-married couple?"

SWMBO said, "The three most important words in a marriage are, 'You're
probably right.'"

Everyone then looked at me, after a moment I said, "She's probably right."

We've been married 45 years. When asked how my answer has always been two things.

We are both "fox hole" types. When the poop starts flying overhead we tend to dig a fox hole and stay in it until the poop stops flying.

When we got married it was decided that the check book (Don't know what you blokes call it but it is how we write bank drafts.) was a 50/50 deal.

Yes, I make all the deposits and SWMBO writes all the checks.
