Looking back over the years, a few things have really stuck out in my mind, here are some of them..
As a kid my parents made me walk the plank...We couldn't afford a dog.
But my dad called me Rover "cos he always wanted one.
I remember the sad day when one of my friends went fishing and his boat sank and he drowned... We all got together and had a wreath made in the shape of a lifeboat.. Well it was what he would have wanted.
Talking of boats. I once went on a "Once in a lifetime cruise on a big ship" ... I tell you what.... Never again.
I also remember when the owner of the local cinema died, his funeral was on a Friday at 4-30pm, 6-30pm and 8-30pm.
I use to think the world really sucks but now I realise, if it didn't, we would all fall off.
