Curved board for curved wall

I make draperies and window treatments. I need to made a valance board with a 4" projection on a curved wall. How do I go about making it? I know that there has to be a geometrical formula or something. When I made the template of the wall before the baseboard was put in, I ended up with a flat board, no curve. Thank you.
