View Full Version : envirotex, glascoat, liquid glass or other?

Hi Everyone
I have a bunch of sleapers which i want to finish with a thick clear coat of some kind i have got some envirotex which i have tried and it looks really good but it is imposable to find in sydney can get it shiped but it is very expencive for the shipping there seems to be some other products which are the same so i am abit unsure of what to use.

Are any better than the other and easy to find in sydney?

i have 3 pieces of wood which i want to do on the top and sides the wood is sanded & unsealed

wood dimentions 220mm x 2030mm x 50mm
wood type yellow brush box

any help and experience would be much appreciated

Hey Taderz,

Try Barnes' I think they are in Bankstown, If they don't have some I know the Fibreglass and Resin sales over here, have heaps.

You should be able to get an envirotex-alike from your local Bunnies, usually near the crafts section. Or mail order from here (http://www.aldaxstore.com.au/p/593431/envirotex-lite---pour-on---high-gloss-finish-500ml.html).
