I am in the process of finishing a 600*1500 jarrah table top that has been made from 180*45 stock. Having planed it flat, went down to "Pete's Bazaar' to buy some sanding disks to for the final sand
Came across ASTRA A100 disks that looked interesting. Have since been back and bought another 20 at 65 cents each!
They seem to cut the Jarrah twice as fast as conventional 40 grit and give you a 100 grit finish. I am still using the same disk after sanding both sides of the top. (pic attached)
Has anyone else used these or am I just a slow learner.
