Good Evening Friends,
You may have noticed I did not install a quiz for yesterday as no one answered the one for 9 Oct 04.
So I will try another one for today. You have built a cabinet that has inset doors and you are going to use adjustable non mortise hinges. As you know the demand for dead-on alignment can be difficult.

Can you think of a way that will make this a no hassle way to tackle the chore?

Respectfully,

Ralph,
I've found that using euro hinges and accurately cut doors (hanging on accurately cut and squared cabinets sitting deal level) to be fool proof and hassle free when it comes to alignment.

Good Evening Friends,
Cute Bruce, at least you admit you don't actually have a problem.
Mick, to be honest I have yet to try the Euro hinges as all my door are over the face frame and I have yet to use a non mortise hinge. however there is a method of installing the no mortise hinges and that is by using two block as stop blocks, one of 3 1/2" and the inside one of 3 9/16" clamped flush with either the bottom or top of the door so when you lay the hinge on the door and install the screws it will be the same on all doors. Then you would use the 3 9/16" block on the inside of the door opening and rest the door hinge on it and insert the screws.

Thank you for your support.
