Hello all
i am in the process of building a coffee table from half a wine barrel and a gum slab, i have never tried this before but i want to finish the top in hard shellac (u beaut) and then traditional wax (u beaut) or it it the other way around, (that's question #1).
Question #2. I was planning on sanding up to 1200-1500 grit or higher if required, do i need to use a sanding sealer between coats from say 500 grit up?
i usually use a CFP Polyurethane (water based) for this sort of thing but this time, i thought i would be game and try something differant.
thankyou to all who can offer me some advice on this one
cheers Tony
