Capitalisation is the difference between helping your Uncle Jack off a horse and helping your uncle jack off a horse.

Didn't either - had to check the Maquarie dictionary of Australian colloquial language. it means that the uncle is a horse breeder providing for artificial insemination.

SWMBO just informed me that she used this in one of her post-grad uni classes (English teaching) last week. She wrote it up on the whiteboard and got only 3 laughs, 11 "we are not amused"s and 1 "aren't you just about to become a mother!!?!?"

And that's why I love her :U

Commas are also important. Compare

with

A woman, without her, man is nothing.
