I know it's not available in Australia as yet but any concerns about compatibility between these two devices are unfounded.

They both will blend!

I watched in horror as he blended the iPhone a day or so after it was released. I think its a viral marketing stunt of the highest order. The whole website is insane. :D

Did you know each iPad comes with a free iVibrator? :D

Don't get me wrong. I am a proud Apple Mac owner. It is stuff like the iPad that gives us a bad name.

Must admit I didn't really get it.

Is this some "new" form of humour which doesn't fit my sense of.

Is he selling the attributes of the blender?

Is he trying to get kids to do this at home so he can sell more product?

Is he simply trashing an Apple? If so, how does it compare with the others available?

I won't really bother with watching it again but thanks for pointing it out.

My understanding is that Youtube will actually pay people some of the advertising profits for videos that get lots of views. I suspect a reasonable number of people have seen these videos, and the guy is probably making a tidy profit out a few destroyed gadgets.

I think this is quite clever advertising.
It's relatively cheap. Cost of the iPad ($500?) plus nothing to put the video up on youtube. You couldn't buy a TV spot for that,
At last check, the video has have over 4 million hits

The iPad is a lot cheaper than one of their blenders

He owns the company that makes those blenders, the idea is to show that his product is tough enough to blend anything

Also it's the only good use for an Iphone
