I'm thinking of reusing some for the skirting boards as you dont really closely inspect that..but all the jambs and window surrounds I'm thinking of tossing - are there takers for stuff like this - seems a shame to just toss beautiful timber....well beautifull if you're prepared to strip clean and putty it up....
Here's a close up of the grain - I think its cedar...it looks and smells like the Western Red I recently bought.

It's been in the house for 45yrs.
