Hi All,

After being on this forum for 9 mths or so I thought I had better introduce myself! My name is John and by day I don the suit and head into town trying my best to be an IT consultant. By night and on weekends, in between spending time with the LOML and and 2 kids (4 and 2yo), on go the workshop shoes and woodworking apron and I am in heaven! I have always had a passing interest in the world of wood but have only really given it a go in the last 12-18mths.

Thanks to all of you who have helped me so far. Your advice has been very helpful.

As soon as I open a flickr account I will post some pics of some of my creations.

G'day Metester and a BIg official welcome to the inner sanctum of the addicted.:2tsup::2tsup::2tsup:

make sure the billy lids sniff plenty of sawdust. Safer than glue:D:D, and besides, the more of our kind on the planet, the better.
