Hi everyone,
My name is Tom and I enjoy woodworking.
When I left school, I went into an apprenticeship as a drafter at an engineering firm and did that for three years and then last year the GFC hit and I was made redundant. So, I went back and finished a TAFE course in drafting and now am patiently waiting out the GFC fallout by reading everything I can about woodwork, watching all the podcasts I can get my hands on, scrolling through forums and if I have any time left after that, I go to uni to study engineering four days a week...
I always enjoyed woodworking as a kid but never applied myself and ever since I started studying, about a year ago, I got more active in it. At the moment I'm working out of my one car garage which I share with my car.
Just wanted to say hi, Tom.
