I thought it was cute when the water dragons didn't run off when I got close:2tsup:
I thought it was cool when I could hand feed them :D
it was great when they would jump on my leg for a feed :)
now...(two weeks later) it's not so good :(( when they start biting your toes when they want a feed.
and when they start climbing in the window and watching tv with you on the lounge.
anyone out there know how to retrain waterdragons

Start with a small fire of hot coals. Despatch said "visitor/intruder" with 24 oz Plumb claw hammer. Then lay him on the............

Yes, they're attractive critters alright. We had one here for a long time, used to wander all over the place.
Disappeared when we had all the trees cut down. I think all the activity scared him away.

Don't feed on demand - feed them in the one place and at the one time - of your choosing.

Try to keep some "distance" as you are not a threat to them but others may be should they get too close or friendly.
