Hello ! or G'day,

I've recently bought a really old house, and have seen to have the need to learn about quite a few DIY things. Currently I've got some issues with some really old Sash windows, and google has directed me over this way.

I'll post a few questions in the correct location, but this could be something I really get into.

Google has been a very sensible little search engine as this is the place for you. Look up the Renovate Forums furtther down the page. You will have to register there too. Between both places you should get more than enough help.

Hello "Wobblyman". Welcome to the site. Can I assume from the title that you drink a few too many Tooheys Olds. The only way I can help you with sash windows is the cast iron weights that counterbalance the windows. I have about ten of the things & please don't ask why in the hell I collected them.
