Getting Off The Ground

Im about to invest in a nice carba-tec table saw and some other goodies. Im wondering if there is anyone local who would be will to help me setup this thing up and calibrate it ? any other pointers would be appreciated - There will be a chilled slab in the corner waiting for the generous one ;-)

I'm in Sydney, so I won't be dropping around.

I suggest you go to your local library & see if you can borrow 'The Table Saw Book' published by Taunton - if they don't have a copy they should be able to get it on Inter Library Loan. Read it - it will answer most of the questions you have after looking at the 'Chinglish' instructions that come with most saws.

You may also find a manual for a saw similar to what you are buying at the Grizzly machinery site - they are a North American company who import Taiwanese & Chinese machinery to the US & they make their own manuals, which are on line as .pdf files - very handy - I just wish shipping wasn't a problem.

Most machinery can be assembled correctly with a bit of patience - I know how hard it is to wait long enough to read the manual.......
