I have been enjoying Allan (from Wallan)'s jokes but lately every criminal act coming out of Victoria seems to have a link to Wallan. Murders, deserted cars, drug busts...
Please explain. Is this the city moving to the country?

Normally, they don't bury them..........mostly they eat 'em.
Nearest butcher shop is in Mernda.
But I'll let the godfather .....Allan explain

My wife is terrified from all the activities occurring in Wallan.
She was originally a city girl and says she wants to move out
of the country.
I bought her a passport to Lithuania but she hasn't left yet.:D

and Reservoir, in which we are not at all reserved ....
* domestic 2 doors down, 1 death
* Chartres-Abbot, the male prostitute and suspected police informer, shot in front yard a street away
* male knifed to death in lane behind Post Office (right up Allan's alley  )
* lots of burgs cos a place up the road was something of a half-way house for Pentridge graduates
You might have to head further north Allan!

I lived in Reservoir for 15 years Ern and saw plenty of your action before
moving to Mill Park. Spent 15 years there and when things turned rough
we moved to Wallan. Now been in Wallan 18 years - now where to??
Might have to move to Queensland and liven up the whole East coast.:D

So we could say that crime follows you then Allan. Whereever you move, it's only a matter of time before crime increases:D:D

May I suggest the sleepy little village of Midsomer (UK) - you'd fit in perfectly :2tsup:

Now it's funny you should mention Midsomer. I came from a small English village and went to school with a number who distinguished themselves in the field of mindless violence. There were also two who ended up convicted of murder. One of these was a nasty piece of work even in primary school but the other was quite a gentle soul. My father's words summed him up beautifully, "he's a nice lad apart from the killing".
All this without drugs except beer and testosterone!

"he's a nice lad apart from the killing".
Classic !! :D
Actually, Midsomer has become even more dangerous recently. In the current series, its not unusual for 3 or more people to get bumped in a single episode ! Seems its the kind of village where lots of new people move in, nobody ever leaves to go live anywhere else, and yet the population remains strangely constant :oo:
