Anyone see that kid diving off the balcony into the kiddies blow up pool on Aust Day, it was on one of the TV news. :oo:
Belly flopped into it, must have been 12-15 feet as he did it off the railing.
Guess you can't put old heads on young bodies.
My gripe was that it was shown on TV. Possibly encouraging othes to follow suit or even worse post it on that youtube. :((

Didn't see the TV one Lyle but unfortunately this is the fairly common thought today where stupidity passes for entertainment and tends, by and large, to appeal to the moronic minority, some of whom will then copy it and then look for somebody to sue when it all turns to tears.
Bring on the day when the peddlers of this sort of rubbish [thereby often tacitly condoning it IMHO] are made responsible for their actions. "Don't try this at home" while laughing and hyping it up surely can't be responsible journalism or entertainment.

Funniest home videos - from what I've seen of it finds humour in what could be horrific accidents to children.

Funniest Home Videos......yeah, makes you wonder.
Some of the stupid stunts people pull......I find myself thinking "even if everything went PERFECTLY according to plan, in the best of all possible worlds, the most likely outcome is still a (possibly serious) accident". What are these clowns thinking when they are balancing on one leg, up a rickety ladder, trying to cut a tree down using a chainsaw one-handed?
I'm becoming very concerned for the future of the words 'consequences' and 'accountability'......are they still in common use?
