hello everyone:U i stumbled across this wonderful site looking to a beginner's guide to woodworking. i've been intersted in woodworking for a long time, but never pursued it because of of time constraints and limited workspace.

now i've come to a place where i NEED to start learning to incorporate it into my other crafts. i still have limited space, so i'll need to start out on a very small scale.

i was so overwhelmed by all of the incredible things i've seen, my jaw dropped:o i could only hope to be half as good as some of the novice carvers here. from pens, to statues, to furniture...everything is so inspiring.

great site:2tsup:

Thanks for your wonderful welcome everyone. And I am about 10 to 15 minutes away from the "ever so hectic" Bklyn and Manhattan bridges. :) Oh how I long for some peace and quiet sometimes!
