I have been framing fulltime for the past 3 years, working in a framing shop ancillary to a gallery. I am still employed there but have been thinking about moving on for some time now. I am considering the change for several different reasons. I get paid well but there is an uncertainty about the future of the business and I can't be without a job as a have a mortgage to pay. Ideally I would like to find a new place of work within the next 6-12 months.
I possess a wide variety of skills across the board. I am fully capable of operating within a framing and/or gallery business. I have a university bachelor's level education and have a substantial knowledge of picture framing and the fine art industry.
I am not in a position of urgency but I still would appreciate info on any jobs you may think suitable. Cheers :2tsup:
