Building a platform bed out of mixed hardwood decking.
Thinking about using an oil finish.
Anyone got some advice on what oil to use.

I'd be using a natural Scandinavian oil such as the stuff by Organoil myself. Nice smell, with a bit of durability. Would be interested to hear other thoughts though.

:iagree: because these finishes also seem to be "made" for our hardwoods in that they give the right sort of lustre.
