We're looking for a solution to our need for a desk in the study area of the bedroom which is an alcove formed by brick walls on 2 sides and a concrete column (450x450) on the other.
We'd thought of a glass desk top 2870x750 which would be supported by a horizontal batten fixed to three side walls of the alcove - but I am not sure if glass would be suitable for a desk of this size with the one long edge unsupported.
Any thoughts, suggestions alternatives appreciated.
