Tom Harrington, Director, Sturt School for Wood 1992-2008, passed away at 6am on 18th November at his home in South West Rocks.
Those who attended Sturt will remember Tom as an amazing craftsman, who taught us many things about woodwork and life.
Vale Tom

I never had the chance to meet Tom Harrington, but I've always had tremendous admiration for the work and workmanship fostered by the School.
RIP.

Very sad news - I only met Tom a few times, but his enthusiasm for woodwork certainly had a very positive impact on a lot of people (myself included).
The facilities and courses available at Sturt are pretty much all down to Tom's hard work over the years.
RIP

There was much to be admired and desired of Tom Harrington RIP.
The woodworking community is not only a sadder place but will miss another true craftsman who contributed much through the years of yore.
Cheers:)
