Portable Airconditioner hose installation?

What are my options for installing the outlet hose for oour portable air con? We have awning windows so that will be a PITA to install there. Can you have the outlet going into the floor? It can be a permanent installation as it has a cover for the thingy (nightshift talk) when it's not in use. I need to set it up soon, that's the worst part of nightshift, having to sleep during the hot days.
