Hi All,

First off i'm Brodie from Tasmania, 2nd Year Chippy/Joiner.

The plan is for my father and myself to build a pergola before christmas.

We are looking at having a pitched roof, one that has only one point in the centre (That make sense)

Although as i have not done Pitched roofing at Tafe, nor do i do any roof's at work (I'm on the commercial scene), i need a bit of help on figuring out how i go about pitching the roof.

Does anyone have a plan, a side photo or section detail or something which can show me where to make my birdmouth cuts or what not, etc etc.

Regards, Brodie

Along with the constructions sites you can also look for some great ideas on YardShare.com: Landscaping Pictures & Ideas | Front Yard & Back Yard (http://www.yardshare.com). It is a great site with a ton of ideas on landscaping, decks, patios, pergolas, etc. Good luck on your project!
