Yes, a resounding yes.
Rudd I gather has put his hat in the ring to be the first president of the this world government.
See or listen to the 2GB interview with Lord Monckton by Allan Jones. In this interview Lord Monckton go over a great deal on detail on this new order and Kevin Rudds aspirations.
Alan Jones interviews Lord Monckton about Climate Change - 2GB.com (http://2gb.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6205&Itemid=134)
We all should be alarmed and very concerned as we are about to right royally screwed.

Well he seems to know a lot about a treaty that hasnt even been finalised yet. Seems like its not going to happen this year anyway US admits it expects Copenhagen Treaty to be delayed until 2010 - 05 Nov 2009 - BusinessGreen.com (http://www.businessgreen.com/business-green/news/2252613/admits-expects-copenhagen) Here is the draft of the treaty at Sep 15, Im sure it has changed since then http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/2009/awglca7/eng/inf02.pdf I wonder if this is the one he is using for reference. Here is a further discussion of the scaremongering this bloke engages in. PolitiFact | British climate-change skeptic says Copenhagen treaty threatens "democracy," "freedom" (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2009/oct/20/christopher-monckton/british-climate-skeptic-says-copenhagen-treaty-thr/) Let me say again, there is no agreed text.
There are several other misleading statements in this presentation BTW. If there was going to be a world government then what would happen to all the militaries and the parasites that live off them, the arms manufacturers? I cant imagine them allowing a winding down their industries. The treaty will only be about climate, not voting systems, economic polices, taxes etc. It will only ever be a treaty which means that no one will be forced to sign up. The US is still not signatory to a whole bunch of treaties including the Rights of the Child, It is extremely unlikely that it will sign any thing away. I hope no one takes this bloke seriously.

You know, he is a really good speaker. Sounds so sincere. But . . . he failed to mention (a mere oversight, i am sure) that the President can sign all the treaties he wants to but they must be ratified by the US Senate to take effect. That is where the real battle takes place. And no, I repeat, no treaty which yields US sovereignty is going to be ratified. Take it to the bank. :)

Theres more than one way of skinning a cat.
Look at the Patriot Act it over rides some fundamental points in the US Constitution,
Its all a matter of conditioning.
You can bank on vested interest, that you can take to the bank :U
