Thumbnails

Quite often there is no thumbnail when there should be. I haven't changed any settings knowingly, is it me or the Forum?

Have you checked on the top of the "photo" boards on how to insert a photo?

I have recently been having the same problem as Burf. Whereas previously when I attached a picture to a post, a thumbnail would appear, now I only get a filename, which people have to click on to view the picture. What have Burf and I done wrong?

Maybe it's how they are loaded up. Some I get the thumbnail and others just the file name. :confused:

I've only been getting file names also. I have played with lots of settings, but can't get a thumbnail for love nor money. :(

, I'm not trying to upload a picture just access one that is supposed to be there. I'm not even seeing a file name, just an empty space in the thumbnail frame.

I've also noticed that this was going on a few days ago and now it has changed back to thumbnails.

Got me buggered at the moment. I know that the server has been updated and this may have something to do with it. Let me play later tonight and I will get back to all of you with some answers, I hope :o :confused:

I had a problem with thumbnails, i used to just get a box and then i would click sort of in the left hand edge of it and when the curosr hovered over the thumbnail (which i couldn't see) it would change, i then clicked and up it would come.

But now all is OK. My problem was becuase of a setting in my firewall (Zone Alarms) that did not allow pop-ups. I think for some reason it thought the thumbnails were popups.

I now have thumbnails, thanks for hanging in there for me guys, A combination of cp settings and firewall settings needed playing with.
