as title says how do i enhance a pine kitchen table. was originally stained like a lot of furniture from eureka, basically i was going to plane it back and with your help colour it up :D....... no paint

Get it back to bare wood and use a tar based finish. I posted a home brew finish a few weeks ago, I'll try to find it.
