Is it right that you can walk to work faster than you can get there in your car in Sydney.?
That there are more bad roads in NSW than any other major state?
You need to earn twice as much to survive at the same standard as in other states?

Is it right that you can walk to work faster than you can get there in your car in Sydney.? This true but at least you don't expect a flamin train/tram to run you over doing it.
That there are more bad roads in NSW than any other major state? This due to two factors. 1 NSW pays for all the work done on every other states roads so they have o work harder but hey they can handle the extra load.
2 Vic/Melb doesn't have roads they have Tram Tracks wich allow cars etc to use it.

NSW is a great place anywhere but Sydney north of the Hawkesbury South of the Nepean and West of both. Its actually the same river just circles round the whole place.

I lived at north ryde many years ago and worked at west lindfield. I could walk to work in 45 minutes. It took that long to drive some mornings.

No. Brisbane has the worst roads I've ever seen. They are so badly designed they often actually scare me, and of course they are both in poor condition and hopelessly inadequate. In sydney if an accident happens on the south side for example it only stops traffic on the south side. In Brisbane a prang on one side of the city gridlocks the whole place.

Qld has gone from being the lowest tax state in aus to the highest in the last 11 years. Our real estate has almost caught sydney but wages are about 70%.

I hate melbourne, but love victoria. I don't like sydney nor brisbane one little bit, but I was born in fnq and love nsw. It aint the state it's the reigon IMO. UNZUD is looking better every day.
