Supplier recommendations for hardwood flooring

Well after looking around i know what i want, that is approx 70m2 of sydney blue gum finished in high gloss. However finding the best and cheapest way to archive that is a little confusing. The prices vary widely $120-220 per meter laid & finished. However now I read that is much cheaper to buy the wood from a supplier then get an installer & someone to sand and polish separately. So I was hoping someone might point me in the right direction of a decent supplier (Melbourne) and an installer would be helpful too if anyone has been though this process before.
