Howdy everyone, im a new member here this is my first post but Ive been lurker for a little while. I'm 23 years old and work in the IT industry.

I've always been pretty crafty as an owner/builder but since the new born is on the way i thought i would build a cot and take up a new hobby as a wood worker :U

Ive setup a bit of a make shift workshop in my garage, i really need to get around to organising it properly (so i can get the car in) :B I have attached a few pic's of my garage and some of the power tools i got in there. please excuse the mess.

Looking forward to learning from you all.

Thanks

Christos

Welcome to the WW forum Snaps ,enjoy your time here and ask your questions if you have a need to.

A mess:oo: thats probably a lot more organised than most. W'workers are renowned for having things from one end of a workshop to another and not necessarily tidy.

Hope the cot build goes well for you.

Cheers:)

Thanks for the warm welcome! :U I already feel at home!

I just picked up quite a bit of merbau/kwila for the main frame of the cot. I would of rather got some nice Aussie hardwood but its got a great red hue and will be perfect for the legs on the sleigh cot.

I might start up a new post about the cot

Cheers
