G'day all, Im pretty new to all this magic television stuf so I hope we all get out alive. Been looking through some of the previous threads and the wealth of information made available by you guys is simply amazing. Im basically a hack at wood butchery, but I love it. Im in the market for a lower priced thicknesser and have read some of your views. Wondering if the Ryobi is the next one I should consider now that GMC has gone bust???? Any thoughts?

G'day Egg, and welcome to the forums.
Researching tools is likely to Fry your brain, and you will get scrambled messages.
I hope you don't have to shell out too much dough, but feel free to poach as many ideas as you can from here,
Sorry mate..just couldn't resist.

Welcome EGG. It looks like the yoke is on you!
Keep an eye on the thicknesser available from Deals Direct from time to time. I posted a heads-up thread about it which I'm sure you can do a search for. It's identical to the more expensive Hare & Forbes machine and seems to have been very popular.

or on a roundabout. Mildura is the king of roundabouts.
I was born there.

Your dead right they are not scared of a few roundabout in these here parts. Thanks for your replys, I'm in the midst of converting my triton dust bucket to a cyclonic irrigator this weekend thanks to the little movie by Gumby. I've been trying to think of a way to improve it for a while now, no need to reinvent the wheel thanks to the shared experience around here.

G'day Soth. I'm in town in sunny Mildura, a culprit of making too much noise for my neighbours, although they have'nt sent the lynch mob after me......... yet.
