I have just changed the H and C tap washers (the usual kind) in our ensuite.
Usage on these taps is daily, probably up to 10 times a day for the basin C tap, 2-3 times a day in the shower.
I know I last changed these about 4 years ago. The cold washer was absolutely at the end of its life. The life of the washer - actually, its quality at the end - surprised me.
So .... how long should one expect to get from a humble tap washer? What is everybody's experience? And is there any variation in the quality/life from washer type to washer type?
