What would the smell be? Is it mould or something else?

I do believe its something else. Your eyelashes have a special mite, no you wont see it. It swims in your tears and protects your eyes. Your armpit hair, no lets pass on. Your hair has a lovely collection of mushrooms growing in it. In fact you are a walking town of life, each part helping to keep you healthy. You sealed all these poor little beggers in a container and yes they have gone off, tist tist doesnt this come under cruelty to native species. Mnnn.

Nappy San will kill anything still alive, but it may also bleach
the color out. If all else fails and they still smell, i suggest
soaking them in a flammable liquid and drying them with a match:D

I'd put the lid back on and seal it up tight .

I no time at all not only will they smell, but they'll also hear, see, feel, and taste as well ..

This has got to be a wind up...welding rods used to hang stuff up, Light bulbs used as heaters, ...Come on !!!

You have just got to be taking the p**$

Ian if you are referring to me, no Im not. We all are a walking colony of life, Cows cant digest grass, only bacteria does that, and look at cheese through a microscope and you will heave. Even your immune system may turn out to be something else you are host to, so ease off on the mouth wash, you are killing your mates.

rrobor,
No of course I wasn't referring to you - when was the last time you huddled over a 60w light bulb for warmth?

Check out Qld's previous posts and you'll see what I mean... they are just bizarre.

For crying out loud, just hang them on the line for a couple of days and they'll be ready to wear again. The sun fixes all, and if your that rough washing prrbably isn't your thing any way.
