I attended and found that it was also the Official Opening of the shed. Sorry I was late for some of it. It was well attended probably in excess of 75 people at 11 AM.
They have a very good set up and plenty of room. It is in the Show grounds and beside a cane farm so noise would not be a problem. The members were very hospitable. Free Sausage sizzle and tea / coffeee. Cakes by a donation. They were happy to demonstrate their equipment and skills.
I only saw 1 other person in a Wood Forum shirt - Dai Sensei. It was good to catch up with him again. I'm sure there were others there but they were not wearing their 'uniform'.
I even found a few items made from Paulownia in the shed so Tweed Valley guys have to be a well informed group of woodies.

What a great day, lots of people their from Lismore ,Ballina Byron ,Mullum Murbah and the Gold Coast.
This club has some real hard workers and to see what can be done in a very short time is incredible. I really enjoyed the pumkin and ginger scones from Alma.
Anyway a big thank you to Barry and Alma, George,Terry,Ron ,Ian. I am sure there is someone I have forgotten, great day guys.
